  • Red-Wine Marinated Tri-Tip Sirloin

  • WINE:

Color: Red, Varietal: Merlot, Vineyard: Duckhorn, Region: Napa Valley
  • FOOD:

    Meat - Beef
  • COMMENTS:

In a sealable bag, combine the tri-tip and Herb Marinade with Merlot (shake well) and shake to coat the meat. Refrigerate for 4 hours or up to 48 hours, turning the bag every couple of hours.

Prepare the grill. Remove the tri-tip from the bag and season with salt and pepper. Grill at a temperature of 375°-400°F for about 20 minutes, turn and grill until the internal temperature reaches 140°F for medium rare. Remove from the grill, cover with foil, and let rest for 10 minutes. Slice and serve with grilled corn, roasted potatoes, or your favorite side dish.
